Welcome to Matakana Collective. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services, including creating and maintaining a business listing. By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Eligibility

1.1 To create a business listing, your business must:

• Be women-led, defined as having a female-identifying owner or majority shareholder.
• Operate within the Matakana and surrounding areas, including Matakana, Point Wells, Omaha, Tawharanui, Leigh, Pakiri, Whangateau, Warkworth, Tomarata, Kaipara Flats, Mahurangi, Martins Bay, Sandspit, Algies Bay or Snells Beach.

1.2 We reserve the right to verify eligibility and reject listings that do not meet our criteria.

2. Business Listings

2.1 Each listing includes:

• A pin drop on the map.
• Searchability by category and tags.
• Up to 10 uploaded images.
• Links to your website and social media accounts.
• A business description, contact details, and opening hours.

2.2 Optional Add-Ons:

• Featured listings on the homepage are available for an additional $50 per annum. Featured spots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

2.3 Updates:

• Each listing is entitled to one free update per annum. Additional updates may incur a fee.

3. Payments

3.1 The annual listing fee is $120+GST per annum and is charged via annual invoice.

3.2 The annual listing for a featured listing on the homepage is $200+gst per annum.

3.3 Payments for optional upgrades or additional services will be charged separately.

3.4 Fees are non-refundable, including for cancellations or unused portions of the listing period.

3.5 You must provide at least one month’s notice before your renewal date to cancel your listing and avoid automatic renewal.

4. Content and Conduct

4.1 You are responsible for ensuring that the content you provide (e.g., images, descriptions) is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.

4.2 Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

• Offensive, defamatory, or misleading material.
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights.

4.3 We reserve the right to edit or remove content that violates these Terms or is deemed unsuitable.

5. Privacy

5.1 We respect your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

5.2 By creating a listing, you consent to the display of your business information (as provided) on our website.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Matakana Collective provides the directory "as is" and makes no guarantees regarding the number of views, leads, or sales generated through your listing.

6.2 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
• Losses resulting from errors, interruptions, or unauthorized access.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your listing if you breach these Terms or fail to meet eligibility requirements.

7.2 Termination of a listing does not entitle you to a refund.

8. Modifications to Terms

8.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.

8.2 Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
